Aprilfawn Bike-joring 9 months pregnant. Poor dogs! LOL

Don't leave your dog home anymore while you ride your bike, let them come along and enjoy the pleasure of a run! Our dogs have done skateboarding-jorring for for several years, but in 08 we decided to start them on Bike-jorring. We like to run 2 to 4 dogs at a time (two "Walky Dogs" with coupler). We at Klee Kai of Del Mar believe that "Form Follows Function" and in that our dogs which were bred down from Sled Dogs should retain their function to go on running trips! Did you know POM's were once sled dogs as well? We do not want our breed to end up looking like POM's, small fluffy toy's with no function. Note how the form of the original POM was lost due to lack of function? It is our desire no matter how small we breed our AKK, that they retain the look of their heritage which is the Alaskan Sled Dog. This is also a wonderful outlet for the dog. Exercise contributes to Alaskan Klee Kai being well balanced in not only form but in temperament. For this reason we HIGHLY recommend being active with you dogs and keep them running! Our dogs currently run 1 to 3.5 miles several times a week and they LOVE IT!!
